When we come to our mat for our yoga practice, we usually start by quieting our minds and centering ourselves. For some of us, this is harder than the actual asana practice, especially if you don’t have a daily meditation practice. It can be hard to settle down and quiet your mind. A great way to do this is to focus on your breath, watching it come in and out. A gentle ebb & flow. This too can be difficult, but the more you practice it, the easier it’ll be.
If you’d like to learn more about meditation please sign up for one of our classes on the Zoom platform, Introduction to Meditation. This 90-minute class will give you the tools you need to create a daily formal meditation practice. We explore a few different practices and learn how to apply them as well as the very basics of meditation practice.
